After a year of looking at new Ferrari listings daily on trademe and not finding the car I wanted it was time to speak to someone well connected in the industry to help. Dan Chima at Southern Specialist Cars was the obvious choice as he had already successfully located cars for people within my friend group. I met him one afternoon and went over my very specific requirements, knowing that this was no easy task didn’t put Dan off and he was more than happy to help. We looked at some options in the UK as well to get an idea of what we could find on the global market should we not be successful finding one locally in NZ. Even in a larger market like the UK not one of the cars available at that time fitted my criteria exactly. I left the dealership excited but also realistic that this idea of finding the perfect Ferrari 458 might take years! Within 3 hours Dan txt me with an update that he had located a white 458 in the North Island and he will be getting me more details shortly. After weekly updates on the cars status, we soon learned more about the car and it was becoming clearer that this car fitted the criteria perfectly. NZ new, low km, white with black leather, reverse camera, LED carbon steering wheel and lift kit. Dan secured the car for me, did absolutely everything to ensure the car was perfect on arrival to Christchurch and even surprised me a week earlier than expected!! I cannot speak highly enough of Dan and the rest of the team at Southern Specialist Cars. In a market as big as the UK the car I wanted couldn’t be found so to locate it in NZ, at the right price AND in record time is no easy feat! In the past year only 4 or 5 Ferrari 458’s had ever been advertised on the market in NZ so to find this one off-market and secure it for me is an absolute dream come true!
